Thirteen years ago I started my journey as a mathematics teacher.After four years of preparations at University of San Agustin in Iloilo,finally I got my first job in the province of Laguna.
Today we are celebrating our annual Teachers' Day.It is a moment when our students give honor to us their mentors. But beyond the gifts of flowers and cakes,letters and balloons the most wonderful gift we received is the word of gratefulness. Everyday teachers face challenges of more than 300 students in their classes. Our life is simple routine,go to our class,check our students evaluation paper and record it,compute their academic performance etc. But each day is a unique day.Today you will encounter students who find difficulty in understanding your lesson.You must poster enough patience to deal with this kind of students.Tomorrow you will encounter students with family problems,as the second parent of these children you must be caring and understanding towards these students.The next day after tomorrow maybe you will encounter students who are disappointed by friend or a special friend,and this time you will be doctor love who will boast the broken ego of these teenagers. But as a summary no matter how difficult sometimes my life as a teacher,still if I will be given a chance to choose another course still I will be willing to a teacher again. Life of a teacher is always fulfilled everyday,after hearing a students ahhh after learning a new formula,after seeing a smile on their faces after a sad moments,a teacher feel a complete fulfillment.
